Cookies – to optimize Finepart’s website, we use cookies. But what are cookies?

Cookies are small text files with information stored on your computer that help us improve and customize your user experience on the website, and to deliver a more personal service. Please note that computer also means tablet and smartphone, unless otherwise stated.

There are two types of cookies, ordinary cookies and session cookies:

  •  Session cookies are temporarily stored in your computer’s memory while you are browsing a page, for example to keep track of the language you have selected, but disappear when you close your browser.
  • Ordinary cookies save a file for a long time on your computer. It is used, for example, to talk about what is new on the current website since the user last visited it or compile statistics about your visit. Once the expiration date for the current cookie has passed, it will be deleted from your computer when you visit the website that placed the cookie on your computer again to begin with.

Cookies cannot harm your computer, but you still have the option to refrain from giving consent and also to revoke your consent by turning it off in your computer or by turning it off in your browser settings. Then no text files will continue to be stored, and you can also delete existing cookies in your browser settings, and set a warning to be given every time the website tries to place a cookie on your computer. If you are using a tablet, you can normally do this by changing the settings of the operating system, and if you are using a smartphone, you can normally do this by changing the settings for the smartphone browser. Remember, if you turn off cookies, Finepart’s website and its functionality may be degraded.
